What you’ll do…
- Zone the department.
- Rotate stock and check for expired products.
- Ensure merchandise is properly signed and priced.
- Adhere to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates.
- Adhere to food safety and handling procedures and follow sanitation and cleaning procedures.
- Follow proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
- Ensure the department is fully stocked with merchandise and is ready for business.
- Follow Health and Safety guidelines.
- Stock merchandise/pick, downstock if applicable. Apply product protection when required. Set and complete modulars, including flex modulars and set new shelf cap.
